Ilkley RFC (and Ruggerpix) Team Training Day

Ilkley RFC Pre Season Senior training/coaching day Saturday 25^th July in preparation for season 2026 – 2027.

The weather that day was generally overcast, we had prepped our camera equipment the day before to help avoid any last minute panic and had set off early to avoid delays due to traffic holdups. It all worked, we arrived comfortably in time to cover the training session, batteries charged and ready for the action.

It was good to be back and covering the action ready for season 2026-2027, had to stand well back and use the long lens to avoid any personal involvement, didn’t want to get trampled by any of these lads or the clubs robot grass cutter.

We were really getting into our training now, and getting into the flow, camera settings checked and re checked. Now for some more, could we keep up?

A good day, rewarding for all. Looking forward to Ilkley 1st vs Melrose pre seaon friendly on the 15th August. Camera, action !!!! yes please.

Grassington, a Yorkshire Dales Market Town - Never Fails, Never Disappoints.

Grassington, one of our favourite destinations is a picturesque market town in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It never fails to provide us with different viewpoints and moods for our photographic safaris in the Dales.

This visit did not disappoint as we strolled in and around the town searching out some more of its hidden corners. The sunshine and blue sky helped to make wonderful compositions with an outstanding display of vibrant colours.
